Health and Safety Policy
Our Health and Safety Policy (summarised) is to:
- Provide safe working environments
- Prevent accidents and cases of work-related ill health and promote positive physical and mental well-being
- Manage Health and Safety risks in remote workplaces, at client offices and on site visits
- Provide clear instructions and information, and adequate training, to ensure employees are competent to do their work
- Consult with our employees on matters affecting their health and safety
- Provide and maintain safe equipment
- Ensure safe handling procedures adopted
- Maintain healthy and safe working conditions
- Encourage colleagues to understand the importance of health and safety of themselves and others, and to make health and safety awareness a consideration in all areas of their working practice
- Where colleagues are working remotely or based at home, to encourage them to follow appropriate guidelines regarding posture awareness when working at a computer, to advise on an appropriate level of lighting to avoid eye strain, and to take regular screen breaks as felt necessary
- Where colleagues are working in clients’ offices, to require them to follow the client’s relevant health and safety guidelines
- Where colleagues are working on site or at site visits, to require them to follow any health and safety guidance provided at that site
