Dan Johnson is the Founder of Placemaking London and a leading adviser on placemaking, urban transformation and wellness places. With more than two decades of experience across the public and private sectors, he works with cities, business districts, developers and landowners to shape long-term visions, investment strategies and delivery programmes that create lasting social, economic and environmental value.
Dan has led major transformation programmes across London and the UK, bringing together government, transport authorities, businesses, investors and communities to deliver complex place-based change. His expertise spans public realm strategy, governance, sustainability, active travel, place management and wellbeing-led development.
Previously Director of Placemaking at New West End Company, Dan was responsible for shaping the future of one of the world's most significant commercial districts. Through Placemaking London, he now advises organisations on creating resilient, prosperous and healthy places, while leading some of London's most ambitious public realm and district transformation programmes.
